JB Wholesale Roofing and Building Supply has almost a dozen locations, one of which is right around the corner from us in Chatsworth, California. We’ve done a few signs for the Chatsworth location in the past, and they reached out to us this year for a new banner. From the photo, you can see that this is a fairly large banner. It faces Nordhoff St., one of the main streets in the San Fernando Valley.
JB Wholesale Roofing and Building Supply is a veteran owned and family owned business that has been around for almost 40 years. The founder, Keith Jones, opened the first location in Chatsworth in 1979 and the business has grown immensely since.
A few years back, we multiple signs for them including a storefront sign. some parking signs, and a banner. The new banner we made is actually a replacement of the first one we made a few years back. Although banners are very durable and made for outdoor use, they can experience some wear from being outside 24/7. As the banner is meant to catch the attention of those driving by, they wanted to get it redone to assure that the text was vivid and that the banner was effective.
There are many businesses who will get a banner that says “Open to the Public” on it to let people know that it’s not just a warehouse, it’s a location where you can walk in and inquire about the business services. With so many different businesses in this part of the San Fernando Valley, it’s hard to tell whether or not a business is open to the public so a banner like this can definitely help bring in new clients. With a business like this, it’s not as obvious as a restaurant or a retail store that you can just come in.
