Check out this amazing desk sign we made for Primuth, Driskell & Terzian, LLP in Pasadena, California. They were working with a design firm, Kilter, who reached out to us for a new sign for their client. As you can see from the photos, we made a dimensional letter sign of the logo Kilter designed to be displayed in the reception area.

Working with a design firm is fairly easy because the designer will have already called out the proper measurements, and they know exactly what files we need to get started. Kilter sent us a vector file of the logo, a mockup of the sign on the desk, and all of the dimensions so we knew exactly what the client wanted. This made the process go fairly quickly because we were able to start on production right away. When the client doesn’t have a finalized design, the proofing can sometimes take up a lot of time because we’re going back and forth with different designs and layouts. We don’t start on production or even order the material we need until we have a signed proof because we never know what’s going to change in the design.

This sign is made from 3/8″ acrylic. The logo was flat-cut from the acrylic and custom painted to a specific PMS color that was called out. A lot of the logo signs we make are installed onto walls so we often stud mount them. But since this sign was going on a desk, we mounted the letters with black foam tape.

The custom gray they picked out really brings out the details of the desk and helps the reception area look great! If you’re interested in a getting a logo sign for your office, give us a call to discuss the different options of how we can make your unique logo into a custom sign.
