Geller Dentistry is a dentist office located in Los Angeles, California, near Larchmont Village and Hancock Park that offers general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, restorative dentistry, and prosthodontics. A prosthodontist is a dentist that specializes in the aesthetic restoration and replacement of teeth. Prosthodontics go through an additional 3 years of advanced training after dental school and there are less than 20 Board Certified Prosthodontists practicing in Los Angeles. Being a dentist office that offers such a specialty service, they wanted to make sure that their outdoor signage was prominent.
Many dentist offices don’t have the opportunity for exterior signage because they are located inside an office building shared by many other businesses. But Geller Dentistry is the only business that occupies their building, and they even have a front area with parking. Because of this, they were looking for a new building sign, door signs, and a new panel for an existing sign near the sidewalk. The building sign was a dimensional letter sign that was installed right above the entryway, and on the door, we made sibond signs that display the dentist’s names and the type of dentistry they offer.
There was an existing hanging sign right next to the sidewalk that just needed a new panel. The great thing about signs like this is that the panel can be replaced without a new permit as long as you aren’t modifying the bracket. We replaced the existing sign panel from the previous tenant with a 1/2″ thick high-density pressboard with a brushed aluminum finish and dimensional letters.
