We moved the existing three prints to different locations of the store, two of the prints are pictured to the left at their new location.
For the four new prints, the images were printed with a large format printer onto magnetic vinyl, laminated with clear glossy vinyl and applied to a thin magnet which was attached to a 1/4″ sheet of black PVC. A 1″ x 2″ wooden frame and cleat were used to mount these prints so it looks like they are floating very slightly off the wall. As you can see from the photos, they look identical to the prints that they already had.
The image for the print pictured on the right was 88″ x 80″. The width was bigger than the size of the vinyl so we printed the left half of the image onto one piece of vinyl and the right half on another piece. We applied the vinyl pieces right next to each other onto the magnet to have the smallest gap possible. The seam is going right down the middle of the image, however, as you can see in the photo it is not noticeable.
Creating signs exactly as our customer sees it in their head is our ultimate goal. Although obstacles like sizes of materials can come up, we try our best to make it work so the resulting product is exactly the size and look that you’re looking for.
Below are photos of a 88″ x 48″ print (left) and a 83.5″ x 40.75″ print (right). Due to the width of the images, we were able to digitally print these onto one seamless piece of vinyl.
