Event SignageTrade shows, events, and conventions are one of the best ways for a business to gain new customers. The Casery is a Santa Monica based company that designs and creates unique phone cases. A business like this can definitely benefit from trade shows that focus on retail merchandise and fashion. They were going to be attending two trade shows within a month so they asked us to create a portable sign that they could reuse at these events and for future events. Their next trade show was coming up soon so we got working right away.
Brand Recognition
When it comes to signage or any form of advertising, it is crucial to be consistent with your logo, typeface, and company color. The Casery uses the same typeface anytime their company name is used which creates brand recognition. Making your brand name or logo recognizable increases the chance of a customer choosing your brand over another.
Depending on the background their logo is either black or white but the typeface is always the same. For their booth they wanted the sign to be on an Alice in Wonderland style hedge wall so we went with white acrylic letters. We started with white acrylic and routed out their company name along with their tagline “PROTECT THE ONE YOU LOVE”. Humorous taglines are likely to make a long lasting impression and appeals to the younger demographic that they are targeting.
The Display
The Casery provided the foliage backer which we attached each letter onto individually. They mounted the sign at the top of their booth and surrounded it with their phone case displays. The dimensional letters look great down-lit against the darker background and the sign is sure to keep attracting customers at future shows.
On the booth wall adjacent, they put up a few photos from their Instagram page along with their username which is a fun way to promote their social media account. Social media is a fast growing marketing platform so it is a great idea to incorporate it into a display.
