A few years back, we made a monument sign for Pedaler’s Fork in Calabasas, California. Pedalers Fork is a restaurant, bike shop, bar, and a coffee shop all in one. The coffee shop housed in the building is 10 Speed Coffee who just opened a second location in Santa Monica, California. Late last year, we installed their storefront sign which was a channel letter sign. They officially opened this year and decided to add a logo indoor sign to their interior. As you can see from the photo, we made a simple logo sign that looks great with the interior wall.
When the client reached out to us, they already had an idea of what they wanted and how they wanted it made so it was a quick and easy process. We received a vector file of the logo in black, and the client asked for a metal sign that was painted black to look exactly how the artwork looked in the logo file.
10 Speed Coffee first opened up next to a bike shop in Hood River Oregon and was a social hub for the cycling and coffee community. Cycling and active lifestyle communities along with the cafe culture have been at the core of 10 Speed Coffee since the beginning. Pedalers Fork, the location in Calabasas, even has a yoga studio on the second floor.
Creating a great atmosphere is something very important to coffee shops where customers will stay to study, chat or have a quiet place to read or get work done. From their unique storefront sign to their interior branding, we’re glad that we’ve been able to help 10 Speed Coffee with the signage for their new location. With the combination of their new exterior and interior signs, they are sure to attract many new customers and succeed in having a second location for their existing customers.
