Reverse lit channel letters, also known as back lit, halo lit, rear illuminated, or reverse pan channel letters, are a type of signage that is mounted slightly away from the wall of a building to create a halo of light around each individual letter. They are illuminated by LED light bulbs and can be flush mounted on the building’s fascia or installed on a raceway with a backer panel. Reverse lit channel letters provide a unique and distinct look at night, with a soft, muted glow that’s never too overpowering. They are also known as halo lit or backlit letters and consist of aluminum faces and sides mounted onto standoffs away from the wall.
