A few months ago, we featured a monument sign we made for Woodland Hills United Methodist Church in one of our blogs. After the new monument sign was completed, they wanted to put some dedication plaques on it. Our plaques are completely customizable so they look great wherever you want to put them. These plaques were made from horizontally brushed aluminum and the lettering is black vinyl. They wanted something simple but elegant, and brushed aluminum with black lettering is a great combination. One plaque was put on either side of the new monument sign.
There are many different ways to customize your plaque from the backer material to the information that goes on it. Brushed aluminum is a very popular backer panel material, but we’ve also made plaques with acrylic backers. Many plaques will have lettering on it which can be 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional depending on what type of look you’re going for. Lettering can be engraved, embossed, vinyl, dimensional letters, or digitally printed. We’ve also digitally printed images in the past if you want a graphic or a photo. These plaques we made for Woodland Hills United Methodist Church were mounted with screws, but you can also mount them flush if it’s an interior sign and you don’t want to see any mounting hardware or mount them with standoffs. Standoffs come in many different shapes, sizes, and colors so you can use them to accent your plaque or enhance certain colors.
The brushed aluminum plaques we made for Woodland Hills United Methodist Church suited the sign perfectly and will do a great job of dedicating those who were involved in making the new monument sign possible.
