Chelsea Court HOA was looking to get a new sign for their entrance and reached out to us after finding us online. Chelsea Court is a condominium complex in Sherman Oaks, California. Apartment complexes and condominium complexes require a lot of different interior and exterior signage. Most signs are put up during the initial construction or during renovations, but over time signs do get old and need to be replaced, especially exterior signs. The complex is gated and at the entrance, they used to have a sign that had the name of the complex and the address. Due to exposure to UV rays and weather conditions, the sign had become discolored and the lettering was starting to come off. They sent us a picture of the old sign and asked us to design a new one that was around the same size, with the same information and a similar font style.
Based on the wall width and a photo that the client provided to us, our Designer created a new sign to go on the wall. The sign displays the name of the complex and the address. It is a relatively simple sign, but entrance signs are crucial for wayfinding and identification. Depending on the layout of your building, you can have a sign on a wall or gate like this, or put the sign directly on the building. It all depends on your specific location and needs.
